About me
I'm Luis, I'm 18 and I live in Barcelona, Spain. I've been writing since I was 8, winning local contests and enjoying rediscovering the world.
I studied for 2 years humanities, where I learnt to understand Greeks and Romans in depth. I wanted to study History since one of my main passions is writing stories set in ancient civilizations. Anyway, I finally studied what I really wanted, literature, so that is what I am doing right now: English and Spanish Studies in Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (a well-known spanish university)
I consider myself a story lover. I am publishing my first book of poems, I have written a second one and I also work in the meantime on a novel which its world is totally created by me
Moreover, the RPG genre and adventures have always fascinated me in video games, and I like to get into their worlds.
Studies
Humanities
Estudié por dos años bachillerato humanístico. Como asignaturas destacadas, he aprendido latín, griego clásico (dialecto ático) e historia del arte (con lo cual sé de composición visual, así como de movimientos artísticos).
Mi nota media en estos estudios fue de 9.3/10, y en las lenguas que he mencionado, 10/10.
I studied for 2 years Humanities. As a highlight, I learnt Latin, classic Greek (attic dialect) and History of Art (and for this reason I have knowledges on visual composition, as well as artistic movements)
"English and Spanish Studies" Career

Además, a finales de este año empezaré, con suerte el aprendizaje de alemán.
Now I am studying "English and Spanish Studies" career at "Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona". There, I am improving my analytic comprehension skills in both languages, their kinds of literature and grammar.
Literature studies have also made me get used to archaic forms of English and Spanish, typically medieval.
Furthermore, next year I will start to learn German if I can.
French
I have the B1 French title, that certifies I have a French level close to fluenty. My reading and speaking comprehension skills are pretty high, and while my expression on the language is limited, I'm planning on retaking this study so I can get as fluent as a French native speaker.
Other languages
​
My interest in languages is huge. Aside from Latin, French, German, Spanish and English, I speak Catalan, a language that I have as my own since I was a child due to being born in Catalonia. Moreover, thanks to a close friend of mine I am learning Italian.
My recent projects
"Los 52 Golpes"
In 2021 I am publishing weekly writings in "Los 52 Golpes website, such as new poems, brief stories and scenes I use as a practice for my novel.
"Soy un bosque que arde"
"Soy un bosque que arde" is my first book of poems, in which I tell a story about a forest. In only one night, it was devastated, terminating the lives of most of its population and changing completely the future for those who survived. This is a story of personal growing, self-love and loving others, and standing up after falling.
Photography
Photography and visual arts is one of my passions as well. Some years ago I started my Instagram account @plumadeicaro, where I tried to tell stories through photos. In these, I have pictured me and my close loved ones in travels, both literal and emotional ones. Along with the photos, I write down words from all languages that I find interesting or related to the feelings I put on my feed, as well as short poems that complement them
I am also learning pixel art, but by now I do not have time to improve and create something worth showing.
